beautiful and moving memorial.

A cloudy morning, but the sun came out just as our ferry ride was beginning. Another beautiful day!

Let's try this again

Here's hoping the picture comes through....I think I need some sleep!

Day 1 - Wellesley arrives in DC

Our trip down was fairly uneventful, which is totally fine by me. Today was the Cherry Blossom parade, so the city is packed to say the least. Our bus driver braved heavy traffic to get us to the Holocaust museum in time for an hour of touring. Now, we have a few minutes for souvenir shopping while we wait for dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. An added bonus is that the restaurant is next to Ford's Theatre, which is where the group shot was taken. I think we will all be ready for some R&R tonight when we get to our hotel.

New Research into Holocaust Ghetto Network

Just found this article and wanted to share it considering we are going on a trip to Washington, DC. New evidence about the staggering numbers of people and locations across Europe.
